French Joe Canyon was legendary years ago as the one reliable spot for Rufous-capped Warblers in the country but it also harbored a nice diversity of species and at this time of year, who knows what we’ll discover. We’ll leave the cars and walk along level trails through oak scrub/grasslands up to the spring to see if the warblers can still be found there. Wear good walking shoes, bring a small pack with water and snacks. No restrooms or water available. Limited to 11 participants.
