Birds, Climate, Advocacy, & Joy: Having Fun While Protecting the Planet with David Robinson
This event is free to attend. No registration required.
Most of us who care deeply about birds, nature, and the environment — let alone, peace and justice — sometimes struggle to sustain hope and avoid despair. And especially when it comes to fighting climate change, many of us wonder what we can do to make a meaningful difference: Should we shop differently? Stop traveling by plane? Go vegan? Donate money? Write letters? Protest? And for each of these, we wonder: Where? How? When? & With whom? No wonder so many of us often feel confused, guilty, and paralyzed by doubt. The threats can seem so big and our individual power so small, it can be hard to know what actions to take.
In this talk, David Robinson, Tucson Audubon’s Director of Conservation Advocacy, will share some empowering tips — drawn from his decades of advocacy and activism on a wide variety of issues — to help anyone figure out what to do to make a meaningful contribution to protecting what we love… and to have fun while doing it!
