Arizona State Parks – birding and other walks. Fee. (602) 542-4174.
Buenos Aires National Wildlife Refuge – Arivaca Cienega every Saturday in season. See our Field trips page for more info. For refuge info call 823 4251×116.
Boyce Thompson Arboretum – Open 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. daily (except Dec. 25). Bird sightings are posted at http://ag.arizona.edu/BTA/events/birdwalks.html. 689-2811.
Catalina State Park – 5 a.m. – 10 p.m, Fee. Fall/winter birding walks on Fridays at 8-10 a.m. at the first picnic area past the entrance. Call 628-5798 for more information.
Honeybee Canyon Park
Saturdays in the spring. For more information contact: 520-615-7855 or eeducation@pima.gov
Oracle State Park – Saturdays 8:15AM
February through April. The park is open on Saturdays and Sundays during these months with bird walks at 8:15 am on the first and third Saturdays of each month. Bring binoculars and meet at the Kannally Ranch House patio. For more info, call the park at 520-896-2425 or email jrinio@azstateparks.gov .
Patagonia-Sonoita Creek Preserve – open 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. October 1 – March 31. (Closed Mon. & Tues.) Donation required. 394-2400.
Ramsey Canyon Preserve – open every day 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. $5.00 general admission; kids 16 and under free. 378-2785.
Sabino Canyon in Coronado National Forest – birding and nature hikes. Parking fee. Call 749-8700.
Saguaro National Park – Call 733-5153 (East) and 733-5158 (West) for schedules of bird and nature walks.
Southeastern Arizona Bird Observatory – hawk and crane tours on Saturdays and Sundays, fee. 432-1388.
Sweetwater Wetlands, Tucson – Walk every Wednesday, year-round. Check our Field Trip page for more info.
Tohono Chul Park – 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Birding walks at 8:30 a.m. Monday, Wednesday, Friday & Saturday, YEAR ROUND! Entrance fee. 575-8468.
Tubac Bird Walk – Every Tuesday at the Tubac Nature Center, 50 Bridge Road
Walk route usually along section of Anza Trail near Tubac, flat terrain, duration 2 to 3 hours. All skill levels welcomed, bring your binoculars. Birding by sight and sound. Free. Leader: Jim Karp Check https://tubacnaturecenter.com/programs for latest times.

Tucson Botanical Gardens – 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Entrance fee. 326-9686.
