Tucson Audubon Safety Guidelines

Now that reconnecting with birds—and with each other—is again possible, we want to make sure everyone feels safe and remains healthy. As of June 1, 2021, in accordance with CDC recommendations, Tucson Audubon Society (TAS) is operating with the following safety guidelines:

  • At TAS outdoor spaces, such as the Mason Center or the Paton Center for Hummingbirds, masks are not required for anyone who is fully vaccinated. Unvaccinated people are requested to continue to wear masks in these spaces.
  • At TAS indoor spaces, such as our Nature Shop, masks are not required for vaccinated visitors. We request that unvaccinated visitors to our indoor spaces continue to wear masks. We will continue to limit the capacity of our indoor spaces.
  • We will limit the number of attendees at all TAS in-person events, and we encourage everyone to maintain social distancing, hand washing, and other personal safety precautions.
  • We ask any TAS visitors or event participants who are not feeling well to stay home. You will be missed, and we look forward to seeing you when you are feeling better.
  • Specific events and field trips may have additional safety precautions in place.

Please allow kindness and consideration for others to guide your decisions in these matters.
