Arizona Project WET: Arizona Water Festivals instill a deeper understanding of water in the Earth System and Arizona’s water resources. At a Water Festival event, volunteers contribute to their community and celebrate science and water stewardship by guiding hands-on learning activities that activate deeper understanding of key water ideas in Arizona students.
We’ll train you on how the Water Festival works so you can feel confident when you teach the 4th grade students all about water. Then, at your Water Festival, you will teach (or assist with) the lesson for which you trained. We will provide lunch and snacks throughout the day.
Ability to work with youth – specifically 4th graders. Ability to participate in hands-on outdoor activities. Past experience assisting with youth nature education (not required).
