Help us connect with our community and spread the word about Tucson Audubon!
We are building a team of volunteers to help us represent Tucson Audubon at various events around the community. Volunteers will learn…
Event Outreach Team volunteers will receive priority when we are organizing volunteers for tabling events.
All volunteers interested in being part of the Event Outreach Team need to attend a mandatory, one-day training session (accommodations can be made for a make-up training date, on a case-by-case basis). After the training session, volunteers can sign up to help at any event. There are no minimum number of hours or events that will be required. In other words, the training is mandatory, but all subsequent events are opt-in.
Volunteers should feel comfortable interacting with the public and with representing Tucson Audubon without staff members present. Volunteers should also feel comfortable setting up materials on their own, although we absolutely want to include volunteers who are not physically able to do so.
Monday, February 13, 10:00am – 12:00pm (Accommodations can be made for a make-up training date, on a case-by-case basis. Please email Taylor Rubin with questions).
We would love as many volunteers as possible to attend!
The Event Outreach Team training session will be held in the library at the Tucson Audubon Nature Shop, at 300 E University Blvd. #120, Tucson, AZ 85705.
