Objective:

With your help, we are establishing new generations of saguaros in their natural habitat!

Position Description:

Volunteers will help plant young saguaros around Tortolita Mountain Park. Tools and instructions for planting will be provided on site, but volunteers are welcome to bring their own gardening gloves.

Requirements:

Volunteers should feel comfortable walking off trail, bending down, digging shallow holes with trowels, and being outside for ~2 hours.

February 28, 2024, 10am-12pm

Number of Openings:

We are looking for up to 20 volunteers.
