Birding For Every BODY at Canoa Ranch

January 28- Saturday, 8:00 am – Canoa Ranch

Join Kimberly Aikins of the Southern Arizona Accessible Wildlife Refuge for a leisurely birding experience designed for nature lovers with accessibility challenges; wheelchairs, walkers, or other assistive devices are welcome. The pace is slow, distance short, and terrain even. This month’s birding explores the birding hotspot of historic Canoa Ranch where we hope to see waterfowl, raptors, sparrows, and a lot more. Finish up by 9:30 am. Each registered participant is welcome to bring a support person. To view a complete accessibility review for this location, visit the official Birdability Map. For more information: email fieldtrips@tucsonaudubon.org, eeducation@pima.gov, or call 520-724-5375. Limited to 12 participants.

This program is offered in partnership with the Southern Arizona Accessible Wildlife Refuge (visit them at saawr.org) and Pima County Natural Resources, Parks and Recreation (NRPR) (visit them HERE)

Leader: Kimberly Aikins

Registration for this walk is free. Register here beginning Saturday, December 10, 7:00 AM.
