Birding & Canvassing with Environmental Voter Project

Join us at Himmel Park for a joyful morning of birding and non-partisan canvassing reaching out to registered voters who care deeply about the environment and climate change but need some encouragement to get out and vote.

Himmel Park is a great place to see not only many of our familiar desert birds like Verdin, Abert’s Towhee, Phainopepla, and the striking Vermillion Flycatcher, but it’s also a wonderful spot to see many of our warm season birds like the Lucy’s Warbler, Black-headed Grosbeak, Brown-crested Flycatcher, and Hooded Oriole.

Birding from 7:45-9am. Training & canvassing 9-11:30am.

Registration for this event is free with Environmental Voter Project.
