Madera Canyon with Mary Ellen Flynn

Trip Difficulty: Moderate difficulty. Estimate 3 mile RT hike with about 400’ elevation gain on uneven terrain, a few rocky areas, restrooms available on route, depending on birdiness and temps estimate 4 hr trip.

Details (exact meeting place and areas within canyon where we will bird) provided to participants week before trip but we will be walking slowly up canyon and then returning down canyon to our vehicles. Will definitely check out the Lodge feeders at some point. Where we start dependent on birdiness and temps. $8 parking fee but free with National Park Passes.

Leader: Mary Ellen Flynn
