Oracle City Park & Oracle State Park with Bob & Prudy Bowers

Trip difficulty: Easy to moderate. 1-2 miles walking, elevation change: minor in City Park, less than 100 feet in state park. Restrooms available in both locations.

Driving directions: Oracle Road (Hwy 77) past Oracle Junction to American Avenue turnoff into Oracle. 9 miles from Oracle Junction to turnoff and 4 miles from turnoff to Oracle Patio Cafe, at 270 W American Avenue. Meet in the parking area across the street from Oracle Patio Cafe, and we will drive a short distance to the city park. Birding in the city park for 1.5 hours, followed by a drive to the State Park for another 1.5 hours of birding at the Kannaly Ranch House parking area with an option to hike down the trail to the group area and loop back to the Kannaly Ranch House. Optional brunch at the Oracle Patio Cafe. Anticipated species 20-35.
