Birding the Calendar – Where to Go Birding in Winter with Luke Safford

One of the most common questions we get asked is “When is the best time to go birding in Southeast Arizona?” Well, it’s hard to pinpoint a best month, because there is something unique during every season! The winter months offer fantastic opportunities for a variety of raptors, waterfowl, longspurs, and more. Of course thousands of Sandhill Cranes in the Sulphur Springs Valley is always a draw, and we’ll touch on Whitewater, but less well-known locations will be discussed too!

Registrants will be emailed a Zoom link a couple of days prior to the event.

Registration for this virtual event is free.
