Birding the Calendar – Where to Go Birding in July with Luke Safford

One of the most common questions we get asked is “When is the best time to go birding in Southeast Arizona?” Well, it’s hard to pinpoint a best month, because there is something unique during every season! It may seem weird to think, but fall migration actually gets kicked off in July, and not only that, the monsoon season motivates birds and birders to get active.
