Birding the Calendar – Where to Go Birding in August with Luke Safford

One of the most common questions we get asked is “When is the best time to go birding in Southeast Arizona?” While it is hard to pinpoint the best month (there seems to be something unique during every season) Luke would say that August is his favorite time to bird the Tucson area. Not only is the Southeast Arizona Birding Festival happening, but the birds are happening too! Join us as we discover some new places to go birding this August, or learn to see some favorite spots in a new way.
