Virtual Event: Montezuma Quail and Their Unique Conservation Challenges with Aya Pickett

Registration for this event is free.

Thursday, September 21, 11am-12pm (AZ time)

Montezuma (or Mearn’s) Quail is a bird beloved by birders and hunters alike. Tucson Audubon is working to increase numbers of Montezuma (or Mearn’s) Quail through creating native food plots. The main food items that the quail eat aren’t grown in nurseries, which creates a unique conservation challenge. Aya Pickett, the Restoration Project Manager at Tucson Audubon, will explain how we are collecting seeds and how you can help!
