Birding
Show hospitality to our guests–both human and birds!
Volunteers will ensure feeders and water stations are maintained for the birds and will be the face of Tucson Audubon to all of our guests at the Paton Center for Hummingbirds.
It is necessary that our volunteers enjoy showing hospitality to people and engaging folks in conversation. You’ll need to be able to maneuver hummingbird feeders and seed feeders to outside locations. It is preferable to be able to be on a shift for 3 – 5 hours. While a knowledge of local bird species is helpful, it is not a complete requirement.
Various dates are available. Most volunteers are on a weekly morning or afternoon schedule.
We would like to add 3 – 5 folks to our Paton Center Birding Ambassador Team. Thanks for your interest!
