Exploring the life zones of the Catalina’s with Richard Carlson

Starting at the rich riparian area at Tanque Verde Wash and Wentworth, we will work our way up the many Life zones of the Catalina Mountains, stopping at the Oak-grasslands of Molino Basin, Pine Oak woodlands at Bear Canyon and finally the Mixed Conifers of Rose Canyon.  Since we’ll sample so many habitats, we should see an amazing variety of birds.  Moderate walking, bathrooms after Wentworth, done by early afternoon. Carpooling is required and please leave all pets at home.

Registration for this field trip is free.

**Tucson Audubon member registration opens Feb 3rd at 7am. Public registration opens Feb 10th at 7am.**
