Objective:

Help us restore habitat for birds at the Paton Center!

Position Description:

Volunteers will help pull and remove invasive Johnsongrass and other problem species near the Paton house with some opportunities for planting native grasses throughout this recurring event.

Requirements:

Must be able to walk on uneven terrain and through thick brush, stand for long periods of time, and operate a shovel.

Date:

October 2023 – February 2024 every 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month, 10am-12pm.

Number of Openings:

We are looking for 5-10 volunteers for each date. Registration required. Please click on the appropriate link to sign up for the date(s) you would like to volunteer.
